Open roles

We currently have one position open.

Community Barista / Barista & Community Manager

Elevada, Anjos, Lisbon · Full-time

Elevada is built around a simple belief: how you eat, work, and connect shapes how you feel. We take what goes into your body seriously, and we care just as much about how people feel in the space. Customer experience sits at the heart of what we do.

We're looking for someone who can lead from the floor. Someone who loves good service, good coffee, and the kind of atmosphere that makes people want to come back tomorrow.

This is a service-first role. The core of the job is coffee, food and front-of-house rhythm: taking orders, making drinks, serving customers, keeping things clean, and helping the space run smoothly from open to close.

Alongside that, you'll also help shape the coworking and community side of Elevada: looking after coworkers, helping with packages and bookings, running happy hour and micro-events, supporting group bookings, and creating simple, authentic content from daily life in the space.

What you'll do

Coffee, food and service

  • Take orders, process payments, and keep service moving well during busy periods.
  • Prepare and serve coffee, matcha, cocktails, wine and other drinks to a high and consistent standard.
  • Run food and drinks to customers and help maintain a strong front-of-house flow.
  • Open, close, clean and maintain the bar, seating areas and service equipment to a high standard.
  • Recommend items and upsell where it improves the customer experience.
  • Help manage the music and vibe of the space throughout the day, keeping the atmosphere aligned with the moment: calm and focused when people are working, warmer and more social when the energy shifts.

Coworking and community

  • Welcome coworkers, explain packages and passes, and help manage bookings, memberships and coworking platforms.
  • Be a daily point of contact for coworkers and regulars, helping the space feel calm, social and well looked after.
  • Run small community moments such as happy hour, cowork meetups, and group bookings, and help shape bigger events over time.
  • Encourage connection between coworkers, regulars and guests when it feels natural.

Content and brand

  • Capture simple, authentic social content from day-to-day life at Elevada, from coffee and dishes to coworking and community moments.
  • Support the team in promoting coworking offers, events and new ideas through the channels we already use.

Who you are

  • You have café, bar, restaurant or hospitality experience, and you're comfortable in a fast-moving customer-facing role.
  • You care deeply about customer experience and notice the small things that make people feel welcome, looked after and likely to come back.
  • You enjoy connecting people and helping build a real sense of community around regulars, coworkers and guests.
  • You're curious about coffee and willing to go deep on the details.
  • You're organised, proactive, and comfortable using a POS, booking tools and social apps as part of the day-to-day role.
  • You've got a good eye and ear for atmosphere, and understand that music, energy and tone are part of the experience, not an afterthought.
  • You're interested in food, nutrition, fitness or hospitality done with intention.
  • You have fluent Portuguese and strong English.

Experience and training

  • Coffee shop, bar or restaurant experience is preferred.
  • Specialty coffee and matcha training will be provided for the right person.
  • In return, we expect you to take the craft seriously and want to keep improving.

What we offer

  • A full-time role in a health-focused café and coworking space in Anjos.
  • 40 hours per week, mostly daytime shifts.
  • Specialty coffee and matcha training.
  • A role with room to grow as the coworking and community side of Elevada develops.
  • Salary in line with the Lisbon hospitality market, plus meal card and shift coffee or drink.
